Sudanese activists reported on Friday that around 40 people were killed in "heavy artillery shelling" by the Rapid Support Forces on Omdurman, a suburb of Khartoum. The "Coordination of Resistance Committees of Karri" stated in a social media post that the Rapid Support Forces shelled Omdurman on Thursday, and the casualty count "so far... 40 citizens/martyrs, with injuries over 50 ranging from minor to critical."
