Video: 20 Dead in Boat Capsizing in Afghanistan

At least 20 people, including children, died today, Saturday, when a boat they were on capsized in a river in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan, according to a local official. Qureshi Badloon, the local communication department official, wrote on the platform "X" that "a boat carrying women and children capsized around 7 AM Saturday in a river in the Pasol area." He clarified that "5 people survived the incident, the causes of which are still under investigation." Rescue teams have recovered 5 bodies and continue searching for the other victims. Efforts are underway to find the deceased from the capsized boat in the Mohmand Dara district of Nangarhar. So far, the bodies of 5 individuals from this incident have been found. #TOLOnews
