An Indian woman threw her 6-year-old disabled child into a river filled with crocodiles following a fight with her husband. According to "The Times of India," 26-year-old Savitri, who resides in Uttara Kannada, tossed her speech-impaired son into a river known for its crocodile population. The report indicated that she and her husband, 27-year-old Ravi Kumar, frequently argued about the condition of their older son.
Indian police reports revealed that the horrifying incident occurred last Saturday evening when Savitri discarded the victim by throwing him into a drain channel that connects directly to the Kali River. After being alerted by neighbors, the police arrived at the scene and, with the help of locals and divers, began searching for the child. However, their efforts were unsuccessful due to darkness.
A police officer stated that on Sunday morning, the police were able to recover the child's body, which showed severe injuries and bite marks all over, along with a missing hand, strongly suggesting that he had fallen victim to a crocodile attack. The police confirmed that the body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, noting that further investigations are ongoing, and both parents have been arrested in connection with the tragic incident.
