Mikati Contacts His Irish Counterpart... Here's What They Discussed!

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati made a phone call today, Thursday, to Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris, during which they discussed the relations between Lebanon and Ireland. During the call, Mikati expressed his appreciation for Ireland's position in recognizing Palestine as a sovereign and independent state, hoping that this step would be a milestone towards the recognition of the State of Palestine by all countries to reach a two-state solution and lasting peace in the region.
