Gold and Bronze for Lebanon in the West Asia Women's Beach Volleyball Championship

The Lebanese team, consisting of the duo Mervat Hamze and her daughter Mirna Sheikho, won the title of the second West Asia Women's Beach Volleyball Championship hosted in the Jordanian capital, Amman, by defeating the host team in the final match. Notably, the champions who were awarded the gold medal did not lose any matches during their journey in the tournament. Another Lebanese team composed of the duo Lara Al-Nahi and Nour Hamze climbed to the podium by finishing in third place and winning the bronze medal. After the tournament, the President of the Lebanese Volleyball Federation, Walid Al-Qasouf, and the former president of the sport, Michel Abi Rami, contacted players Hamze, Sheikho, Al-Nahi, and Hamze to congratulate them on their achievement and wished them success in the Arab Championship starting in two days in Jordan as well.
