Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan discussed with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna the developments of the military escalation in the Gaza Strip and the importance of an immediate ceasefire, as well as enabling the delivery of urgent aid to Gaza. The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" reported that during the phone call received by bin Farhan from Colonna, the two ministers discussed the importance of supporting political solutions to end the crisis in accordance with relevant international resolutions and stopping the forced displacement of Palestinians. During the call, they also reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance them across all fields, in addition to discussing regional and international developments of mutual interest. The World Health Organization called today, Friday, for allowing patients and injured individuals from Gaza to enter Egypt on a regular basis for treatment in order to alleviate the pressure on hospitals in the enclave. The organization stated that a system should be established to evacuate priority cases from the besieged Palestinian territory.
