The Ministry of Health, affiliated with Hamas, warned today, Monday, of the imminent collapse of the health system in Gaza within "a few hours" due to fuel shortages, following more than 7 months of war and Israel's restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged territory. The ministry stated in a statement: "We are only a few hours away from the collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip, due to the failure to supply the necessary fuel to operate generators in hospitals, ambulances, and to transport staff." The Gaza Strip is experiencing an unprecedented collapse of the health system and living conditions, amid ongoing Israeli bombardment in various areas of the territory.
