The head of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Burhan, participated in the burial ceremony of his son Mohamed at a cemetery in Turkey. Mohamed passed away in Ankara last Friday due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Burhan arrived in Ankara yesterday for the funeral of his late son, and he was received by the Turkish Vice President. Turkish authorities officially announced on Friday evening the death of Mohamed Abdel Fattah Burhan at the Bilkent Medical Center in Ankara. Mohamed had suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident on Kiraz Street in Ankara on March 6 while riding a motorcycle, when he collided with a light commercial truck that evening.
The General Secretariat of the Sovereign Council and its members mourned the son of the head of the Sudanese Sovereign Council.
