Wahab: The Area Extending from Damour Upwards Must Not Experience Any Issues

The head of the "Arab Unity Party," Wiam Wahab, received a large delegation from the villages and residents of Al-Wadiya in the Shouf region, expressing gratitude for his attention and support for the people in the area during these difficult times. Wahab stated, "No matter what happens in Lebanon, what matters to us is preserving Lebanon, and we must support the army and security forces in all aspects, whether in addressing thefts, violations, or matters concerning security and the army, which are performing excellently." He praised the efforts of Army Intelligence Director Brigadier General Tony Kahwaji and his commitment to his duties in the region, which is reassuring. He emphasized that their choice is the state, and they will continue to support and preserve it, stating there is a determination to maintain what remains of the state. However, he stressed that "the area extending from Damour upwards must not experience any issues, even if we have to use all available means."

Wahab affirmed, "We will not have to resort to militia options, but our militia is one of love and coexistence, and we will use that militia in the face of any threat. This militia represents love for Sunnis, Shiites, Druze, Christians, and everyone. This area is characterized by safety, and this must not change. Anyone who threatens our security will face us. This matter is resolved in Al-Wadiya and Jaiyya, which are all one village, and this also includes the other villages in the region."
