Police Raids in Brital and Ali Nahri

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced in a statement that "as part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to pursue and apprehend dangerous wanted individuals across Lebanese territories, information was obtained by the Special Group in the Judicial Police Unit regarding the use of a house in the town of Brital for the smuggling of stolen vehicles. On 17/04/2024, as a result of investigations and inquiries conducted by the group members, the location of the mentioned house was identified. Consequently, one of the patrols raided the house and arrested the following individual: - S. M. (born in 1964, Lebanese), who is wanted for drug trafficking. During the search of her and the house, a quantity of military weapons was found." It added: "On 23/04/2024, one of the group's patrols managed to arrest the following individual in the town of Ali Nahri in Bekaa: - Q. T. (born in 1971, Lebanese), who is wanted for theft, robbery, attempted murder, and firearm-related offenses. Legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred along with the seized items to the relevant authorities based on the court's directive."
