Meghan Markle has stirred controversy on social media in recent hours after she appeared in a dress designed by Heidi Merrick while attending an event with her husband, Prince Harry, in Nigeria. The source of the debate stems from the name of the dress, referred to as "Windsor Dresses–Blush" on the designer's website. "Windsor" is the last part of the name of the British royal family, which Meghan and Prince Harry announced they were stepping away from in 2020. Additionally, it is believed the dress was first released in 2018, the same year as Meghan and Harry's royal wedding. The price of the dress worn by the Duchess of Sussex during her recent visit to Nigeria is $1,350 and is currently unavailable on the designer's online store.
