Men in middle age can enhance their health by replacing at least one serving of red meat with plant-based foods. Dr. Nuria Dianova, a nutrition expert and executive director of the Center for Healthy Nutrition Research, indicates that "the health condition of middle-aged men improves when they replace one portion of red meat in their diet." She states: "If middle-aged men substitute one serving of red meat with plant-based foods, they will feel a significant improvement in their health." According to her, Stanford University conducted a scientific experiment in 2020 that lasted 8 weeks, where some participants consumed only their usual meat, while others consumed "plant-based meats." The expert notes that those in the second group naturally lost one kilogram of weight over the 8 weeks, and their levels of various fats in the body improved. Blood analysis showed a reduced risk of blood clots, cardiovascular diseases, heart attacks, colorectal cancer, kidney diseases, and diabetes.
