Title: Security Measures by the Army and Arrests in the Northern Region

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance announced that "on April 2, 2024, units of the army, supported by patrols from the Intelligence Directorate, carried out security measures in the northern region, which included deploying foot and armored patrols, setting up temporary checkpoints, and conducting raids on the homes of wanted individuals." It added in a statement that "as a result of these measures, 12 individuals were arrested for committing crimes of gunfire and disturbing public order, and military weapons along with a quantity of ammunition were seized from them." The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrested individuals commenced under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
