The Tunisian President Kais Saied received Palestinian journalist Wail Dahdouh at Carthage Palace. Saied affirmed "the consistent position of the Tunisian people regarding the legitimate Palestinian right and the deep belief that the sacrifices made by the Palestinian people today will not be in vain and that they will regain their usurped right to establish their independent state on all Palestinian land with its capital in Jerusalem." The Tunisian president stated that the human community worldwide has surpassed the international community and will certainly lead to a change in coming years. A large crowd of Tunisians warmly welcomed the Palestinian journalist, a correspondent for Al Jazeera, upon his arrival at Carthage Airport in Tunisia on Sunday during a work visit. This is his first visit outside Qatar since he arrived there in January for treatment from injuries sustained in an Israeli bombing that targeted him and his colleague, Samer Abu Daqa, who was killed while they were covering the war in the Gaza Strip.
