Syrian displaced people began gathering at the Wadi Hamid crossing point in Arsal during the early hours of dawn, ahead of the voluntary return convoy organized by the General Directorate of General Security, which includes 310 displaced individuals. The convoy consists of two groups, one limited to 10 people, which departed via the legal Joussieh crossing towards Homs, while the larger convoy includes 300 individuals and is set to cross Wadi Hamid in Arsal towards the unofficial Zmarny crossing, the last point at the northern eastern border chain near the villages of Qalamoun in Syria (Rif Dimashq), where they will be received by Syrian security.
