Israel Withdraws Paratroopers from Jabalia: What Do We Know About This Brigade?

Yedioth Ahronoth reported today, Wednesday, that the Israeli army has withdrawn the Paratroopers Brigade from Jabalia. The Paratroopers Brigade (Brigade 35) was established in 1955, and it is a regular airborne brigade within the army, part of the infantry and consists of 4 battalions. It operates using helicopters, flexible boats, and other specialized vehicles according to the nature of the activity and the terrain. The position and method of deploying the brigade's forces in combat or operational activities are carefully considered.

This morning, several Palestinians, including children, were killed and others were injured in air and artillery strikes by the Israeli military on the western neighborhoods of Rafah city and eastern Gaza City, as well as in the Nusairat and Jabalia refugee camps in central and northern Gaza.
