On Thursday, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, published footage of their targeting of an Israeli occupation forces position at the "Netzarim" axis with rocket shells on 06/05/2024, in response to the crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Netzarim axis, which connects the eastern and western parts of the Gaza Strip, holds significant importance for the Israeli army for several reasons. Notably, it separates the northern part of the strip from its central and southern regions, which aligns with Israel's plans to divide the territory. Additionally, this axis prevents infiltration operations that could occur towards northern areas, thereby controlling civilian movement. Furthermore, this axis serves as an advanced operational line, allowing mechanized and armored sectors to advance into the defensive depth within the Gaza Strip.
