Drug Dealers Captured by Information Branch in the North

A statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, which said: "As part of the continuous monitoring carried out by the Internal Security Forces to pursue individuals involved in drug trafficking and promotion in various Lebanese areas and to arrest them, information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding unknown individuals promoting narcotics in the Tripoli area.

In response, the specialized units in the branch initiated their field and investigative procedures, and as a result of inquiries and investigations, they were able to identify the suspects, who are:

- P. H. (born in 2003, Lebanese)

- B. A. (born in 2003, Lebanese)

On November 16, 2023, following careful surveillance, one of the branch's patrols managed to apprehend them in the Al-Muhammara area. Upon searching them, the following was seized: 23 plastic containers containing crack cocaine, about 748 grams of hashish, and two mobile phones.

During the investigation, they confessed to the charges against them, admitting to promoting drugs to several customers in Tripoli. Legal action was taken against them, and they were referred along with the seized items to the competent authority based on judicial instructions."
