A general strike swept across the West Bank today, Sunday, in protest of the Israeli forces' incursion into the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarem and the ongoing war in Gaza. The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that the strike paralyzed all aspects of life, with schools, universities, and businesses shut down amid calls to continue confronting Israeli forces in every city, town, and camp, and to participate in anger demonstrations. Public transportation also participated in the strike across all lines, and citizen movement was minimal. Factories and workshops closed their doors, and banks suspended operations based on a decision from the monetary authority.
