The Russian Federal Security Service announced today, Monday, the arrest of agents working for Ukraine who were preparing terrorist attacks against the Black Sea Fleet. The history of the fleet dates back to 1783 when a fleet consisting of 5 sailing frigates and 8 other ships from the Azov Fleet, led by Rear Admiral Fyodor Klokachev, arrived at the bay (Akhtiar) which is currently known as Sevastopol Bay. Since then, the naval forces in southern Russia have been referred to as the "Black Sea Fleet." Subsequently, a port and city began to be constructed on the shores of the bay.
