Croatian midfielder Luka Modric has hinted at his intention to continue with Real Madrid for another season. Reports suggest that Modric is close to renewing his contract with the team, especially since his current deal ends in June.
In statements to Spanish radio station "Cope," Modric said: "I have made my decision regarding my future, but I cannot tell you what it is." He added, "I have always said that I want to retire at Real Madrid, and that is what I truly want." He continued, "Retiring here would be a dream because Real Madrid is my home, and the club of my life. I want to say goodbye like Toni Kroos."
