The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced today, Tuesday, that approximately 450,000 individuals have been displaced from Rafah in southern Gaza since Israel issued evacuation orders on May 6. UNRWA stated, "It is estimated that nearly 450,000 people have been forcibly displaced from Rafah since May 6," without specifying their destinations. The organization noted, "Families continue to flee in search of safety, while people are facing exhaustion, hunger, and fear."
