Title: State Security Detains Syrian for Insulting Citizens During Israeli Airstrike

A patrol from the regional directorate of State Security in Nabatieh detained Syrian national A.K. (37 years old) based on instructions from the relevant judiciary. He made insulting remarks towards Lebanese citizens who were in the vicinity of the area targeted by an Israeli airstrike yesterday between the towns of Jbishit and Choukin. A video captured by the detained Syrian shows him filming the moment of the airstrike from his workplace in a workshop in the adjacent area, and subsequently making derogatory comments towards Lebanese citizens passing by the site of the strike. The incident sparked feelings of resentment and condemnation in the region and on social media, leading to a campaign and calls for his arrest and punishment, especially as his remarks conveyed a sense of gloating and mockery during a time when hostile airstrikes were targeting the area.
