Cairo News TV reported, citing unnamed sources, that Egypt has begun setting up a camp for Palestinian refugees in Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip, which is expected to be completed by the end of this week. The report mentioned that the camp will consist of 400 tents, accommodating approximately 4,000 people, and will be equipped with electricity and bathrooms "to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians," according to the Arab World News Agency. The television also noted that the establishment of the Khan Younis camp will be followed by the setup of another camp north of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, as well as a field hospital and two distribution centers in the city of Rafah in the southern part of the sector.
