A tiger killed a man in the taiga forest near the village of "Obor" in the Khabarovsk region. A few days before, the predatory animal had untied a pet dog and dragged it into the forest. The newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda Khabarovsk" reported that the dog's owner, a local villager, decided to follow the beast's trail. This information was confirmed by the Amur Tiger Center and the Office of the Russian Investigative Committee in the Khabarovsk region. The man's body was found near the forest of the village of Obor, showing signs of animal injuries. Currently, specialists from the Department of Hunting are working with police officers in the area to investigate the circumstances of the tragedy. No further details about the incident have been provided as additional examinations are being conducted by the inter-district Vilyuisk branch of the Russian Investigative Committee. The newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda - Khabarovsk" explained that residents of neighboring villages had been sounding the alarm for several months due to tiger attacks on pets. At the same time, locals contacted the authorities requesting the dispatch of specialists and hunters to the area, but the tigers have not ceased their attacks.
