The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Halabi, emphasized that he is "not distant from the atmosphere experienced by students in Lebanon, especially in southern Lebanon, but we have an educational obligation which is the official exams." He stated to MTV: "What is required of me is to conduct these exams, and the promotion that the ministry is not ready and that there will be statements is all rumors. I affirm that the exams will take place on schedule."
