Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu stated that "a research and production center for drones and robotic systems will be established under the Russian Ministry of Defense." A statement from the ministry noted: "Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu, during his inspection of drone products at a training ground in the Moscow military district, confirmed that this center will serve as a unifying link for various institutions, laboratories, and design offices involved in the development and production of advanced weapons." Shoigu proposed the task of equipping Russian assault groups with small firearms that would allow them to effectively destroy enemy FPV drones. The defense minister emphasized the need to leverage the experience gained from the special military operation when implementing directives for the development of drones and individual firearms. The Ministry of Defense pointed out that "all the drones presented to Minister Shoigu are produced from local materials and components, as are the combat payloads they carry, allowing us to transition to the commercial production of these unmanned aerial vehicles in the shortest time possible." A range of drones was showcased to Shoigu, with payload capacities ranging from 10 to 200 kilograms. These drones possess high capabilities in jamming control channels and data transmission.
