Russia Shoots Down 13 Ukrainian Drones Near Moscow and Crimea

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Thursday, that it has "shot down 13 Ukrainian drones that attempted to attack Moscow and the largest city in the Crimea Peninsula." It stated that air defenses struck two drones near the city of Sevastopol in Crimea, where Russia has a naval base in the Black Sea, and caused nine other drones to crash into the Black Sea. The ministry added that it shot down a drone over the Kaluga region southwest of Moscow as it approached the capital, and another over the upscale Odintsovo district in the Moscow region. It stated, "Today... we thwarted the attempts of the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks with drones," and mentioned that there were no injuries due to the drones.
