The Israeli army denied carrying out an attack in the Al-Mawasi area of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday following reports of 21 Palestinians being killed in an area designated for displaced persons in western Rafah. The army stated in a statement, "Contrary to reports received in the past few hours, the Israel Defense Forces did not launch an attack in the humanitarian area of Al-Mawasi."
