"Preparation for a Massive Assault": Interpretations of Recent Israeli Strikes

U.S. officials told CBS that their interpretation of the recent Israeli strikes inside Lebanon is that they are a preparation for a battlefield for a massive assault. They considered that "the scale of the rocket attacks on Israel could lead to an unintended war with Hezbollah."
