Former Israeli Minister: Sinwar Manages the War Better than Netanyahu

In a sharp attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the war cabinet, which has faced intense criticism for months over the war, former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman criticized the performance of Israeli military and political leaders in the Gaza war, asserting that they are leading Israel to defeat. Lieberman explained that Hamas and Yehya Sinwar, the leader of this movement in Gaza, are waging and managing the war from the tunnels much more effectively than Netanyahu.

He added that the Israeli cabinet lacks a vision and a plan for managing operations, and that Netanyahu has destroyed international support for Israel due to his confusion and failures. He further insisted that Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot, two prominent members of the Israeli war cabinet, should leave this government as they have no influence over it.

Additionally, he stated that all the actions of Netanyahu's government are aimed at its political survival, and the neglect by this government has created a significant gap in Israeli society. According to reports from Israeli media, he called for all those responsible for Israel's defeat on October 7 to step aside. It is worth noting that Lieberman regularly criticizes Netanyahu's government, which has faced widespread condemnation in Israeli circles for failing to foresee Hamas's attack on the Gaza border settlements on the morning of October 7 and its handling of the issue of hostages in Gaza.
