Real Madrid Officially Announces Departure of Young Goalkeeper

Real Madrid has announced the departure of one of its players as part of its strategy for the 2026-2027 season for the first team.

The team is gearing up for the new season under the leadership of the experienced Portuguese manager José Mourinho, aiming to overcome the difficulties faced in the past two seasons.

The past two seasons were tough for Real Madrid, as the team ended without any significant achievements and lost the dominance and character it was known for in crucial matches, especially during 'El Clásico' games against Barcelona.

The club has been very active in the summer transfer window, completing five signings so far, with two more deals on the verge of finalization.

In an official statement, Real Madrid announced the transfer of young goalkeeper Fran González to Sevilla FC.

Fran González joined Real Madrid in 2022 at the age of 17, and he made his first appearance with the first team last year.

The deal cost Sevilla one million euros, plus bonuses and incentives, in exchange for 50% of his rights and includes several buy-back clauses for the next three transfer windows, with buy-back prices ranging from 3 to 5 million euros.
