The Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, extended his greetings to the students of Egypt on the occasion of their participation in the largest reading initiative in the world. Over 18 million students from more than 31,000 schools took part in the Arab Reading Challenge.
He stated via the "X" platform: "Today, our beloved Egypt celebrated its participation in the largest reading project in the world. More than 18 million students participated in the Arab Reading Challenge from over 31,000 schools." He added, "Our greetings to the students of Egypt... and our greetings to Egypt, the cradle of culture, Arab identity, science, and literature. We appreciate the Ministry of Education and Al-Azhar in Egypt for their significant role in the success and accomplishment of this massive Arab reading movement."
He concluded: "We look forward to celebrating the top students from the Arab Republic of Egypt along with their peers from the Arab world in Dubai, God willing... May God protect Egypt and its leadership and people."
