Mikati: Campaigns Against the Government on the Displaced Issue Aim to Paralyze Its Work

The caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati announced today, Monday, from the Grand Serail: "The continuation of campaigns against the government regarding the Syrian displaced issue is a clear approach that aims to obscure the truth for populist goals and to paralyze the government's work, distracting it with futile disputes and arguments. However, we reaffirm today that we are committed to our work and to implementing the decisions we have made with a clear conscience and a sense of responsibility. We will provide detailed insights on this matter during the parliamentary session on Wednesday." He emphasized that "there is no room but for hope, and no avenue other than work. All of this is possible through joint efforts and our determination to persevere, along with the support of our partners both domestically and internationally, in the Arab and global communities. All of this is achievable with God's guidance and through the efforts of His servants."
