Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon Following Rocket Attacks

Israeli warplanes heavily bombed the towns of Markaba and Adaisseh in southern Lebanon, targeting Tal Nahas and the Al-Azyia hill near Deir Mimmas. The Israeli air force conducted two strikes on the town of Aita ash-Shab and the Al-Balad area near the town of Ramya.

On Sunday evening, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the settlements of Kfaryovale and Kfarjalaadi with rocket fire, stating that it also targeted espionage equipment at the Malakiyah site. Earlier, Hezbollah reported in a statement, "we targeted the espionage equipment at the Ramyah site with appropriate weaponry," in addition to "the enemy's artillery positions and the deployment of its soldiers in the Zahrani area with dozens of Katyusha rockets, resulting in damage and fires."

The "Islamic Resistance" targeted a building in the Avivim settlement "in response to attacks on civilians." An Israeli army spokesperson reported that "65 rockets were launched from southern Lebanon in the latest attacks on northern Israel." Earlier today, Hezbollah targeted the Kiryat Shmona settlement, resulting in one injury.
