Billionaire Elon Musk stated in an interview broadcast on YouTube Monday that he uses the drug ketamine to enhance his mental health. According to "Fox News," Musk added: "Ketamine is useful for getting a person out of a negative mental state; I share this information in the hope of helping people." He continued: "I get ketamine prescribed by a doctor, and I do not abuse it. If you use too much ketamine, you really won't be able to get work done, and I have a lot of work." In a previous post on "X," Musk said: "From what I've seen with friends, taking ketamine occasionally is the best option." Ketamine is a narcotic drug officially approved for medical use since 1970. It has strong effects on the brain, especially for individuals suffering from depression. William Pruitt, director of the ketamine therapy program at Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut, stated: "There is growing evidence that ketamine can be very effective for patients with depression who have not responded to other treatments."
