The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Service reported that cold and changeable weather, with occasional rain, is affecting Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin due to a weather low over the eastern Mediterranean, which will gradually recede on Tuesday morning, leading to a stabilization of the weather with a return in temperatures. It is noted that the high atmospheric pressure dominating North Africa will result in stable weather in our region until the end of the week. The meteorological service denied "circulated news about a strong snowstorm after February 8," affirming that there will be "rapid and limited fluctuations as indicated by numerical models so far." The average temperatures for February in Beirut range between 11 and 19 degrees, in Tripoli between 9 and 18 degrees, and in Zahle between 3 and 13 degrees.
**The expected weather in Lebanon:**

Snow will fall at altitudes above 1500 meters, and dense fog will continue to appear in the highlands, while the intensity of rain will decrease overnight with significant clearing.
- **Tuesday:** Partly cloudy with an additional rise in temperatures, returning to seasonal averages, with fog forming in the highlands during the morning period and light scattered rain, especially in northern areas. The weather will gradually stabilize during the day and will turn to a few clouds in the evening.
- **Wednesday:** Generally few clouds with a noticeable rise in temperatures surpassing seasonal averages, while morning temperatures in the inland areas will remain below averages.
- **Thursday:** Few clouds with no significant change in coastal temperatures and an increase in inland temperatures.
