The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine issued the following statement: "As part of the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood battle, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine announces that a group of its heroic fighters in the Al-Quds Brigades managed, yesterday (Monday), to infiltrate one of the occupation's positions in northern occupied Palestine and engaged in an armed confrontation from point-blank range, resulting in the deaths of two Israeli officers, one of whom is the deputy commander of the 300th brigade in the occupation army, and wounding five soldiers with various injuries. During the operation, two fighters from the Al-Quds Brigades were martyred: martyr Hamza Hassan Mousa (Farouq), born in 2002 from the Al-Burj Al-Shamali camp, and martyr Riyad Muhammad Qablawi (Abu Yazan), born in 1999 from the Ain Al-Hilweh camp. While we mourn the loss of our fighters, we reaffirm our complete readiness in all arenas and our ongoing commitment to confronting the enemy in defense of our people and our holy sites. And it is a struggle, either victory or martyrdom."
