Sami Gemayel Discusses the Struggles of Residents in the Border Area with the Mayor of Rmeich

Lebanese Forces Party leader MP Sami Gemayel met with Rmeich Mayor Milad in his office in Bakfiya, where they discussed "the harsh conditions faced by residents of the border area amid the ongoing war and the daily challenges they encounter," according to a statement. After the meeting, Mayor Milad expressed gratitude to Gemayel for his continuous support for the residents of the South, stating, "Since the beginning of the war to this moment, MP Gemayel and the leaders of the Kataeb sections in Bint Jbeil district have never hesitated to stand by their people." He hoped that "other politicians would follow their lead," thanking Gemayel for his positions supporting the residents of the South in general and Christians in particular, noting that "the MP does not need to be elected by the people of the area to stand by them, as President Gemayel has demonstrated." He wished for "the ordeal to come to an end and for Gemayel to visit the South soon."
