Lebanon Under the Influence of a Low Atmospheric Pressure: Here are the Details

A warm autumn weather pattern is prevailing in Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean, with temperatures above seasonal averages, continuing until Tuesday. A low pressure system centered over the Greek islands will lead to a drop in temperatures, causing the weather to gradually become rainy, with heavy rainfall at times, active winds, and thunderstorms starting tomorrow evening, Tuesday.

The forecast by the Lebanon Meteorological Department states that tomorrow's weather will be partly cloudy with high clouds in the pre-noon period. During the day, temperatures will gradually decrease but remain above seasonal averages, while humidity will rise, causing fog to form in the highlands and clouds to thicken. The weather will then turn cloudy, becoming favorable for light and scattered rain starting in the afternoon, with rainfall intensity increasing at times in the evening accompanied by lightning, thunder, and active winds.

On Wednesday, the weather is expected to be generally cloudy with fog in the highlands and a noticeable drop in temperatures returning to seasonal averages. Scattered rain will fall, intensifying at times with lightning, thunder, and active winds. Snow is expected to fall at altitudes of 2000 meters and above during the day, potentially reaching 1800 meters during the night.
