Lebanese Foreign Ministry on Saudi Efforts in Yemen: Strengthening Arab Joint Action

In reference to the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on September 14, 2023, which explains the recent intensified efforts aimed at achieving peace in sisterly Yemen by urging all parties to reach a permanent ceasefire that paves the way for a sustainable political solution acceptable to all Yemeni parties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants confirms its support for these endeavors and responsible efforts that have long called for intensifying them. This is to ensure the return of security and stability to the beloved Yemen and to restore its vital role within the Arab family, thereby strengthening Arab joint action and fulfilling the interests and aspirations of the Arab peoples and states to play an active and influential role amid a complex and changing global system. Continuing Saudi Arabia and Oman’s efforts to achieve a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire in Yemen and to reach a sustainable political solution acceptable to all Yemeni parties, Saudi Arabia extended an invitation to a delegation from Sana’a to visit the Kingdom to continue these meetings and discussions.
