The Israeli army announced today the expansion of its military operations in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, and has included the Paratroopers Brigade to fight there, raising the number of combat brigades to 7, according to "Russia Today." In its daily update on military operations in Gaza, which began on October 27, it stated that "over the past 24 hours, it has eliminated dozens of militants during various clashes, airstrikes, and through sniper fire, machine guns, and tanks." The army announced that its forces "began an operation last night to destroy terrorist infrastructure in the city of Khan Younis, where they detected militants and eliminated them using drones or through shelling."
