U.S. President Joe Biden stated today that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, has "concerned him for 40 years." In an exclusive interview with ABC News at the American Normandy cemetery, on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the host asked Biden about Putin's recent statements that "supplying Ukraine with precision weapons to strike Russian territory is direct involvement in this war." Biden replied, "I have known him for over 40 years. He has been a concern for me for 40 years. He is an unrespected man, he is a dictator, and he is struggling to ensure that he keeps his country together while continuing this assault." The Russian Foreign Ministry responded to Biden, stating, "Anyone who allows striking Russian territory will deeply regret it." On Wednesday, Russia requested a UN Security Council meeting on June 14 in light of Western countries giving the green light to Kyiv to use the weapons they sent to strike Russian territory.
