The Traffic Management Authority and Vehicle Registration Department announced in a statement that it "will begin issuing private driving licenses for candidates who have successfully passed the theoretical and practical exams during the year 2022 in the departments of Nabatieh, Sidon, Zahle, and Tripoli, as well as the branches of Ouzai, Aley, and Jounieh, starting from 2024/6/11."
It stated: "For this purpose, the department requests the concerned individuals to appear in person or through the relevant driving schools at the aforementioned department and branch centers, according to the dates and times specified in the attached tables; all to present:
- A copy of the candidate's ID
- A certified photo
- A valid residency for foreigners
and complete the payment of the required fees."
It also requested that "candidates who previously submitted their applications at the branches of Ouzai and Aley and successfully passed the theoretical and practical exams during the year 2022 should appear in person or through the relevant driving schools at the main center in Dekwaneh with the aforementioned documents."
