An official in the Israeli government stated today, Tuesday, that "the latest proposal regarding the situation in Gaza will enable Israel to achieve all its objectives before ending the war." The official remarked, "Israel will not end the war before achieving all its goals, which include destroying Hamas's military capabilities (and ending) its rule, releasing all hostages, and ensuring that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel in the future." The official added, "The proposed plan enables Israel to achieve these goals, and Israel will indeed do this."
