The Emirates News Agency reported today, Sunday, that the country's General Civil Aviation Authority stated, "National airlines do not have any aircraft affected by the technical glitch experienced by a Boeing 737 Max 9." The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration temporarily halted the operations of several Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft for safety inspections after an explosion in the cabin forced a new passenger-laden plane from Alaska Airlines to make an emergency landing.
