Shiloh, the daughter of Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has filed a legal request to remove the word "Pitt" from her name on her 18th birthday. The American newspaper "Los Angeles Times" reported that "Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt" submitted a petition to the Los Angeles Superior Court on May 27 to change her name to "Shiloh Nouvel Jolie" only.
She was born on May 27, 2006, in Swakopmund, Namibia, and is the third oldest of the couple's six children, who also include Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Knox and Vivienne. Shiloh, who voices a character in "Kung Fu Panda 3," is the first sibling to petition for a legal name change, although some of her siblings have dropped their father's last name in recent years, according to the newspaper.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, but details of the divorce have yet to be finalized. The actors, who married in August 2014, have sued each other in recent years over disputes related to their joint business ventures and property, including a winery in France.
