On Thursday, UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced the thwarting of drug smuggling involving over 13 tons of Captagon pills distributed across five containers, with a market value exceeding 3 billion dirhams. He stated via his official account on "X" that the criminal gang attempted to smuggle the drugs by concealing them in 651 doors and 432 decorative boards, confirming that the six members of the criminal gang were caught red-handed.
