Today, Tuesday, the thirteenth edition of the "AIM for Investment" Summit launched in Abu Dhabi, under the theme "Adapting to the Changing Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials for Global Economic Development." The summit will continue until May 9th, with wide international participation.
The summit, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi, features the participation of more than 100 ministers, city mayors, governors of banks, central bank officials, 900 speakers, 11 global financial markets, 50 unicorn companies, 300 exhibitors, and over 12,000 participants from 175 countries, across 27 collaborative events organized with more than 330 local, regional, and international partners.
This year's summit, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, offers numerous opportunities for investors, businessmen, and investment firms from around the world to connect and learn about specialized investment projects across various fields, through 450 discussion sessions and 7 high-level roundtables.
Participation in the "AIM for Investment" Summit underscores the UAE's leading position on the global investment map and the ease of doing business, being a preferred investment destination for international investments seeking sustainable growth, expansion, and prosperity, in addition to being one of the largest investing countries globally.
The summit includes various events, forums, discussions, and workshops under diverse main themes, including investment, innovation, technology, startups, and unicorn companies, as well as small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship, alongside regional dialogue forums across continents and the future of financing. This provides a comprehensive platform to explore the future of global investment by showcasing the latest trends and innovations across different fields.
The summit will witness the organization of 27 side events in collaboration with several international bodies and organizations. Also, a new significant forum will be held, namely the "Coordinating Meeting of Investment Promotion Agencies of the G20 Countries - WAIPA G20 IPAs," which serves as an essential platform for G20 Investment Promotion Agencies to align their strategies and form a cooperative and impactful agenda for promoting global investment.
