Lebanon: Attempt to Smuggle Hashish and Tobacco to Dubai and Australia Foiled

The inspection unit of the Internal Security Forces at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut foiled two attempts to smuggle prohibited substances through the airport. In the first operation, 6 kilograms of hashish were seized from an Egyptian woman attempting to smuggle them to Dubai. In the second operation, approximately 200 bundles of tobacco were confiscated from a citizen who was trying to smuggle them to Australia.
